Just recently started listening (noticed your column in KODT, enjoyed the writing), and I must say, I love the wit and sardonic humor. In this one especially, the professional "Anthropologist" feel you give to it, alongside the utter weirdness of the subject, leaves the listener laughing, and wanting to re-listen.

That's awesome! I'm totally adopting that phrase. Although I don't know if I can move past the whole white-hat-good, black-hat-bad thinking. If the bar is full of white hats, I tend to think that it's populated by cowboy heroes...

We call the faded frat boy hats "White Hats" up in New York, which can either denote the hat or the frat boy wearing it. Either way it's not a compliment. An example of a White Hat in a sentence is "This bar is great - it doesn't have a television, there are so many beers to choose from, and there's no white hats!" Great podcast. Hope to hear more. It's like being an anthropologist discovering new cultures.

Thanks for the comments, I appreciate them. And Justin, I will work on the inputs. Sorry about that. Thanks for the heads-up. (I tried to avoid the spikes on the "P" so I guess I got too far away from the microphone. I need a new microphone...)

This was the first podcast that had me consistently laughing. You are truly becoming the queen of pod.

One little critique: your sound levels are a little low. I have to crank my player, sound board, and headphone volumes all the way up to hear you. (most podcasts are fine at 1/32 that volume level.)

Please keep it up.
