How proud I am…

Apparenly if you search for “adam savage jamie hyneman gay” on Google, this blog is the seventh page that comes up.

Mother would be so proud.

If you scroll down, I discuss my podcast where I talk about geek crushes, including the Mythbusters guys. Later, I talk about the circle of sexuality, and I mention the word “gay” - so Google caught them all. (I checked the server logs to what was bringing people to this site, and one person came here through searching for those five words…)

They are almost certainly not gay (tear.) I very much respect that they are such close friends and that they portray a male couple (as friends, in this case) that can be almost affectionate with each other and that they do this in the realm of science.

One has to wonder if they will eventually try to bust the myths about their own sexual orientation. It could be a well-done show.

I get about 60 hits a day to the blog, mostly from the search engines. Lots of people wonder!
