Update for Geek Fu 34

The essay made it into the MP3 file completely unedited, so sorry about that. I’ve fixed it. I’m not going to post it as a new enclosure, but if you want to download a fresh copy, you are free to do so.

I do NOT have RSS-fu, and am unsure how to get the old file out of my feed. I’m hoping it will update on its own. I have noticed the RSS seems to lag behind if I ever edit it. Multiple apologies for all the confusion, especially if you download two copies of the podcast…

I’m glad you posted this; I thought for sure something funky happened with my iPod or the download, since your essays are always so smooth.

To make you feel much better, go see Sky High. The ‘youth’ is a punk fan, as I noted by the Cramps poster, then the camera swings and large than life is the AquaBats poster. I had to look twice and still didn’t believe it. Then, later in the movie, there it is again, but much clearer. It was all I could do to not disturb the other two people in the theater (my wife and my daughter) by screaming ‘I HEARD ABOUT THEM FROM MUR!”

Just thought you’d like to know that. :)

I just listened to Smoke and Mirrors, twice, and felt it very truthful and meaningful for me. Thank you!
