Hey Mur!!

Brian here (formerly of SheSaid-HeSaid) - you should really use unordered lists for your notes - would be much easier to read :) Just hit the "ul" button in Wordpress (I'm failrly certain this is WP) to start it, then hit "li" before each item and "/li" after each item. when the list is done, hit "/ul"

Hi Mur!
I wanted to thank you for the fabulous panel on podcasting. My coworker has been nagging me for weeks to check it out and yours is now the first podcast I've listened to. I really enjoyed your show and can't wait to hear more.

Mur -

I'm writing my comments as I listen. Congrats on 10 years with your husband (I'm 17 years with my wife)!

In an odd note, I had a conversation with someone today about the Olympics and we touched upon similar notes. I'm fairly certain that the Olympic broadcasters have learned a thing or two from "reality TV" and how to create "real drama" out of whole cloth. While I don't doubt that there *are* indeed thrilling tales of the "underdog who overcame adversity" to be heard, when *every* story comes across that way, the truth gets lost in the shuffle.

Huzzah for Neil Gaiman and encouraging people to do their own research rather than just asking someone. It's a very kind version of the old time unix administrator RTFM credo.

Take care and keep casting!

Bill

P.S. IIRC you'll be at BaltiCon this year, no? Wish I could challenge you to a game of Button Men, but it turns out I won't be able to attend.
