Great cliffhanger to a great story Mur. I've listened to Vintage Gamer before and didn't remember Jim's voice sounding as good as it did here... do you not share your equipment with him when he's working on HIS podcast? Or is my memory just not that good? hmmmm.

What you've done with Heaven that I find most impressive is that, aside from the one double episode installment, you're doing a great job of making it really serialized. The episodes hold up as stories on their own while still maintaining a solid throughline for the whole series thusfar. Keep it up!

I've thanked you before for Heaven, but I wanted to do so again because you've enabled me to get past a tricky section of my novel. I've had issues tackling a main character having a conversation with an immortal being, and your story and the way you've handled Kate's interaction with those around her inspired me to work through my own roadblocks. So again, Thanks!!!

Hello Mighty Mur,

I am a lazy, lazy podcast listener who never interacts on forums or emails anyone but your latest episode of Heaven moved me to get off my lazy ass and comment.

Up until now I thought Heaven was great, but with the unexpected little twist toward the end of this tale, Heaven has been upgraded in my mind to genius.

It was one of those little twists that makes readers stop reading and take a breather for a couple of seconds to ingest the information, before reading on. I enjoyed it and this is one of those few podcasts that is so good it's worth a repeat listening.

Thanks very much, looking forward to more.

You say that someone feels deprived if your podcast only has a chapter of "Heaven" and not other things? I don't share that point of view. I'm always pleased to find a new chapter in pop up in iTunes. I love the unexpected twists this story takes. I was really surprised by what happened to your female protagonist in this chapter.

Mur, what are you using to encode the MP3s for GFAG? This is the second episode that plays fine on my computer, but won't play on my iriver H320 at all...

Mur,

I enjoyed the last podcast. You mentioned the Star Wars Holiday Special and an essay that you wrote or read about it. I've never seen the special, though I've explored the website devoted to it (http://www.starwarsholidayspecial.com/). I'd love to hear/read your essay. Can you post a link to it?

I really enjoy ISBW and Geek Fu. Thanks!
