Here I sit in ole Afghanistan wishing I was a watching Babylon 5. At least I can read your blogs. The new Battlestar Galactica rocks! I just keep it high on the shelves so my lil sci fi guy cant get his lil paws on it while I’m over here playing in the sand. You sure you ain’t Canadian? Cuz’ you rock girl. No. They do not deserve the emmy. The series minus the unfortunate season 2 finale may be worthy but, with the criminal mishandling and arrogant, unecessary meddling in that tragic episode, they ruined it forever. They should be ashamed and should be among the first against the wall should the revolution come.
I used to agree with you, but now I have to amend it and say, ‘the new Battlestar Glactica rocked.’ Past tense.
I even had to mind-wipe my Tivo much like they did to C-3PO after he went to Antilles.
Did someone say Babylon 5? Yay. Glad to see there is a true-believer who appreciates a properly and respectfully handled, well-written and lovingly crafted masterpiece of a series.
They should drop Moore and beg Straczynski to take the helm of BSG.
Until I hear that, it is too late for me. I will not be watching season 3 and even gave away my season 1 and 2 dvd sets.
(Sorry for the negativity. I am not normally this way. I feel pretty strongly about this and it is only an indication of my emotions on this issue.)

Hmm,
I’m halfway trhough the first part of season 2 and am still pi**ed off about Universal giving every indication that they wouldn’t be realeasing a complete S2 box set (thus guilting into buying part 1) and then announcign the full, region 2, box set anyway GRRRRR.
Oh, and I’ve got podcast #0 up, the web-site is awful and there’s no RSS feed yet but I’m getting there slowly (www.phazecast.com)
