It is interesting that I have been listening to your writing pod-cast for about a month. A pod-cast, BTW that I love. Since April I have been a productive member of SL society, or a member of whatever it passes for society. Two diverging paths in the "deep woods-off" of geekdom. And yet, as I surf with no better thing to do (the SL grid is down!) I stumble across this site, and find out you have been assimilated as well.

I won't even touch the "I should be writing" and "SL addiction" corollary, but instead, I will revel in the 6 binary points (degrees) of separation feeling I get from making the connection.

All this from a guy who loves SL, doesn't gamble, have online sex, or go club hopping. What do I do then? Give me a yell in-world and I will show you.

I took a week trial on second life and i found it incredibly boring. It's just all that it seems. You can buy stuff and fly but that about it. Also, you should see some of the american apparel ads online. They're quite revealing.

I've been thinking of getting into Second Life recently. There was a interesting series of short television programs about it over here. This is the web site for them: http://www.channel4.com/culture/microsites/S/second_lives/index.html

I think I'll finish some of projects I'm working on first so Second Life sucks away all my free time I'll feel less guilty!
