A shower is appreciated but man, isn't a pleasant breath too - as in, carry gum or breath mints, brush your teeth? I have a couple of things to add and emphasize to those who have never been: The hotels won't stop you from bringing in your own food... at least the Marriott has never stopped us and we usually brought quite a bit. Typically we would bring several coolers worth (PIGS!).. saved us scads of cash. There are a couple of grocery stores (IMO) within walking distance. To emphasize a couple of the things you've said... The biggest for me were the 3-2-1 rule. Definitely EAT! To add to that - drinking alcohol or not - drink water. Do yourself a huge favor and stay hydrated. Please!
