I was rather dismayed by the comment by your haematologist, though from your response you sound like you already know who and what you are. But as the adult son, ofa woman who was, and still ism a big geek, don’t worry about it. I can guarantee you that my mother’s Geeks Shirts ,mostly of the tie dies wizard variety) in no way detracted from my mothers authority, thought if you daughter ends up anything like me, she might have problems recognizing you in formal attire.
Any way keep all the great content coming, looking forward to Heaven Season 3.

Mur, the purple hair looks great on you and you shouldn’t have to change who you are just because of pressure from others. If your daughter takes after you at all I would be surprised if she was ever embarrassed by you. Well outside how kids are always embarrased about their parents sometimes that is.
The world would be a lot more boring if everyone conformed to the ‘norm’.

I am also appalled that anyone would suggest that you adopt a certain “persona”. I am definitely of the “be yourself AND a mom” persuasion … they need not be mutually exclusive.
Heck - I personally think your daughter is lucky as hell to have such a ragin’ cool supermom. I hope to be just as cool in my daughters’ eyes!

Hey. Im a teen. I like purple hair. (I had red hair for about 3 weeks. Close enough). Problem solved!
Also, the Writer’s talking link is sort of… funny. The s at the end of Writer’s sort of merges with Talking.
