Your comments about kid’s cartoons reminded me of one of the many hilarious Strong Bad Emails.

Some of the funniest stuff on the internet right there.

During moments when I would have tossed down the controller and walked away, my toddler likes to console me. ‘That’s ok, daddy. We’ll get it next time.’

When my near-daughter was very young, we’d give her a controller and she’d play and get blown to bits. She loved the explosions. “I WON!” she’d holler.

From the mouths of babes… she reminded me that gaming was about having fun, not about winning.

Zombies. Lots and lots of Zombies. The average game of Zombies I’ve been in involved in is … about 6 hours. That is with all 4 packs though…

You’re quite right - it can get very dull, but with the right people who play a little more co-operatively or in teams it can be extended fun.
