Meta, guest host, Conventions, Podcasting, Writing, Geek! GEEEEK! August 24th, 2007
This is not a reawakening, this is more of a “remember me?” I wanted to put something out on the feed before DragonCon, so Jason and I got together to record the Geek Fu Morning show. And soon: the podcast of Playing for Keeps!

guest host, Conventions, Podcasting, Writing June 5th, 2007
Guest host J.C. Hutchins sat down with Mur at Balticon41 and interviewed her. The sound limitations of the iRiver caused a bit of a hiss, but it’s a lot of fun.

Fiction, Podcasting, Writing November 2nd, 2006
I’m back!
A couple of notes about this podcast: I recorded it last week, but had to delay posting and editing for a week, which is why the date tag at the beginning is a while ago. Sorry about that.
Links and stuff:
Do I need to mention there’s adult language? And a bit of blasphemy?

That is all. It’s good to be back.

Well, I have the copies in my grubby little hands. It hits store shelves tomorrow. I think I’m still in shock. And, knowing how critical some podcasters (well, people in general) can be, not a little scared. But I think Rob and I did a good job. I just hope people agree.
A lot of people.

In other news, preparation continues for Balticon. My buttons arrived (thanks Jared for the recommendation, they look great!), my books of essays arrived, and now I have my podcasting books to take. Throw in some underwear and a copy of Arkham Horror, and I’m set for the weekend.

I’m back.
- Sorry for the delay, I’ve been sick.
- Filk podcasts - or rather, fun podcasts: Manic Mondays, Freakin’ Funny Music, and the live streaming filk.com. [EDIT - Thanks to Tim, the Firefly filk (or Firefilk) band is the Bedlam Bards. And of course I can’t leave out my favorite filk, the Brobdingnagian Bards.]
- If you’re in the pharmaceutical industry, see if you can help Teresa Nielsen Hayden.
- My husband has a podcast. I’m linking to it next week. Be patient. It rocks.
- PodcasterCon was fun. Had dinner from Senator John and Elizabeth Edwards, got a plug from Madge, managed to struggle through the talk… met Raequel from The Triscast, Paul and Martha from ADD and Balticon podcast, and many more.
- The Queer Podcast Community
- I have deadlines, so I was unable to write an essay, but Alexis wrote one for you. The Amazing Exciting Potential.
[EDIT - Good lord, I’m embarrassed. Mixed up my 3rd party presidential hopefuls. It wasn’t Ross Perot who messed up the narcoleptic meds, it was Ralph Nader. Apologies all around, and thanks to Wes for the correction.]
